DEATHPROOF is a metal band originary from Manises, Valencia (Spain) created around august 2010.

It comes to life when INNERFEARS dissolves having their drummer and their singer left the band. The two remaining members, Kay and Busi, with many ideas and will to go on, got on the search of new blood for a new band.

They immediately contacted David, DESTINO’s ex-singer, who instantly accepted and brought Pablo with him, a drummer he knew from different projects.

With this First line-up, DEATHPROOF was forged with live performances around Spain, in venues as Caracol in Madrid, Brutal Zone in La Rioja, Zeppelin in Castellón, Stereo in Murcia, Rock Sala in Valencia and many others. It was also included in an international metal compilation for new metal bands (IMPERATIVE MUSIC COMPILATION VOL. 5) and has toured around Germany in three concerts with strong metal bands such as SYSTEMATIC ERADICATION, INDICATOR, TRAEOS, ZEROGOD, etc.

On december 2011, DEATHPROOF released their debut album, “ABUSE”, receiving great critiques from general audience and from specialized media, as Subterráneo Heavy, Rafabasa, Rock Estatal, etc. This first LP was supported by launching the single “Alcoholic Sad Times”, that received great reviews, was included on reference metal web pages as Rafabasa.com and shows the powerful sound the band had acquired.

Around half of 2012, having taken ABUSE around Spain, DEATHPROOF turned to compose new material and took the important decision of adding a new member on board, to bring more power and potency to the band on stage, as well as new ideas on composition. The chosen person was Ismael Minguez, (ex-guitarist of the band INFLUENCE), with whom DEATHPROOF has already played live and received great vibes and feel.

Once Ismael was incorporated, DEATHPROOF’s final line up is this:

David – Vocals

Kay – Guitar

Busi – Bass

Isma – Guitar

Pablo - Drums

Constantly composing new and powerful material, DEATHPROOF heads to the end of 2012 with more that 6 programmed shows, two in Spain and a new tour of four shows in Germany, supported by INDICATOR and SYSTEMATIC ERADICATION in concerts around three German provinces.

By August 2013, David, Deathproof's singer since it's creation, decides to leave the band to focus on his first musical project, Skill To Kill, and not being able to be active on two bands, he abandones Deathproof.

It's on this hour when the band contacts Alberto Andrade, valencian's metal band IN MUTE ex-singer, a great vocalist with a huge experience on the metal scene as well as in the musical scene , being student on Valencia's Musical Conservatory and Vocal teacher in many academies.

After the first rehearsals with Alberto, DEATHPROOF faces the final part of 2013 with much illusion, writing material for their new album, programmed for 2014
